Parking at Festivals at Dorking RFC

There are new arrangements for parking at the Surrey and other Festivals at Dorking in 2008. In order to help the parking run smoothly please assist the Car Park attendants by handing in the tear off slip at the bottom of the hanger and retain the hanger so the colour coding can be seen by the attendants on entry.

Each team entering into the Festival will be given 12 Car Park Entry Mirror hangers as detailed below.

The organisers ask that you follow the signs for the coloured Car Park for which you have a mirror hanger. On entering, by way of confirming your entry please hand to the car Park Attendants the tear off competition strip having filled in the details, in order to enter the competition. The more entries each club makes the greater the chance of winning the  competition.

To all visitors to Dorking RFC, whether members or visitors for the Day:

• Please Park with consideration;

• Parking on pavements is regarded by Surrey Police as causing an obstruction and will be dealt with accordingly;

• If driving on turf please drive with care as tyres can cause serious damage (4 wheels do more damage than Two!);

• Please keep off playing surfaces at all times;

• Please be aware the area is populated by children playing sport - drive and park with awareness;

• Where possible car share to ease the parking;
